Trial by media

Ever since the murder of  TP Chandrasekharan took place the media in kerala is celebrating it as though thye got a treasure. While nobody can  support the brutal murder of a political worker and   also cannot rule out the possibility of the involvement of the present CPI ( M) leadership, especially the  notorious Kannur lobby,  in it.  But no   sensible person will  believe in  the sincerity  of the corporate media  in  championing this cause. Where was the media when nearly 163  CPI (M) workers were killed inWest Bengal during the last one year. Whether  the media which shed crocodile tears over  the killing of TP  gave any space to his views  when he was alive.  The malayalam media stood by the atrocities of karunakaran  during the dark days of emergency. Human memory is too short.    This trait is  being exploited here.
